This mobile USB laptop drive enclosure allows you to connect a
laptop drive directly to your USB port. No external power is needed.
All laptop drive capacities are supported. Comes in a nice retail box.
This enclosure has a slim design only for 9.5mm drives. It will not
fit 12mm drives. But please check our IDE adapters. They will
work with any laptop drives.

It supports USB2.0 transfer speeds and is also down compatible with
USB 1.0 and 1.1. Supports Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP, Windows Vista,
and MAC OS 8.6 or higher. Also compatible with Linux kernel 2.6.x.

Note - some USB ports may not supply enough power for drive operation.
In this case the USB cable should be attached to computer with both cables.
Most modern laptops with USB2.0 connectors should have enough power.
No drivers are needed for Windows Vista, Windows 2000 and Windows XP.
USB storage support drivers may be needed for Windows 98 / ME.
